前言
    随着我国国民经济和社会发展国际化进程的加剧,越来越多的跨国企业
已经选择把中国作为其拓展海外业务的桥头堡。中国已经成为名副其实的
“世界工厂”。这些企业巨头在华业务迅猛发展,不仅为我国国民经济的蓬勃

  In an interview.it is u nimaginable to think that an employment interview
would ever take place without the candidate being asked to describe his or her
strenghs.Of course,the questions asked may not be as simple as“What are
your strengths?”They may be in very different forms,but are all directed at
your“strengths”,to see whether you are qualified enough to meet all the job
requirements.The following are some 0f the ways in which the question can be
put:
    面试过程中,很难想象面试官不问及求职者的个人优势。当然,问题
的提出并非只是简单的“你的个人优势是什么?”。这些问题可能会以不同
的方式出现,但是都会围绕你的个人优势而展开,以此来确认你是否具备
满足工作所要求的资质。以下是这个问题通常会被提及的方式:
    ▲What factors most account for your career success?
    你职业成功的重要因素是什么?
    ▲In what areas are your colleagues most complimentary of you?
    你的同事最称赞你的地方有那些?
    ▲What are your major accomplishments that best illustrate your key
 strengths?
    哪些重要的工作成就能够显示出你的关键优势?
    ▲In what ways do you consider your qualifications unique or distinctive
 from others applying for this position?
    你认为自己的资质在哪些方面特殊且有别于该工作岗位的其他申
请者?
    ▲Why should I hire you for the position?
    我为什么要雇用你来填补这个职位?
    ▲When compared with other department members,in what areas do you
 most excel?
    与其他的部¨成员相比,你最为优胜的地方在哪里?
    Actually,the question can also be asked in some other ways.But whatever
 the way,you should discern the purpose Of the interviewer and give the right
 answer.
    实际上,这个问题还可以以其他的多种方式提出。但是不管以何种方
式出现,你均应洞悉面试官的出发点并给出正确的答案。
    Interview Strategy面试策略   
    Actually,before every interview,the interviewer alreadv has in mind some
 qualifications that are believed to be critical to successful performance of the
 position·So the key objective of the interview from the employer's perspective is
 to determine whether the candidate's strengths or key capabilities are a match to
 the predetermined qualifications.Your resume and cover letter may have had
 something there that interests the employer,otherwise you would not be able to
 come to the stage of the interview.But the employer wants to make further sure
 that you are really as excellent as you claim to be in your resume.and they also
 believe that you can convey more information to them in the face to face inter.

    实际上,在每次面试以前,面试官早已在脑海中形成了一些被认为对
于岗位表现至关重要的资格条件。因此,从雇主的角度而言,面试的重要
 目标就是确定求职者的个人优势或者关键能力能够满足预设的资格要求。
你的简历和求职信可能有些方面让雇主感兴趣,否则你也不可能进入面试
阶段。但是,雇主希望进一步确认你是否如同简历中声称的那么优秀,他
们也相信你能够在面对面的面试过程中为其提供更多的信息。
  Then what is the way to exceed the expectation of the interviewers rather
than let them down while making the“show'’of yourself in the interview?
Maybe,nothing is more workable than the advance careful thought and practice.
    那么,在面试这样一个自我“秀”的过程中,如何才能够超出面试官
的预期而不让他们感到失望呢?或许没有比事先的认真思考和练习更能奏
效的方法了。
    First of alL you should think in the way of the employer.Pretend that you
 are the employer trying to determine what specific skills and competencies are
the most important to successful job performance.You can do this by studying
carefully the job description and have the information on the key responsibilities
 of the position,key results expected from the position,and problems need to be
 solved.Then you need to think about what skills or capabilities are needed to
 solve the problems and achieve the desired results.and whether the skills or
 capabilities are among your attributes.After doing the thinking.make a list of
both what are needed for the job and the skills you possess.Then try to make a
 good match.But while matching them.don't forget to give some examples to
 support what you claim to be your strenths.As you know,the majority of emp-
loyers want to see  “evidence'’  of your ability to apply these strengths in
 achieving actual results.So you will need to be prepared to give specific exam—
pies of accomplishment to support yourself.If you have difficulty in finding the
 suitable examples.think about what problems existed when you came to each
 position,what you did about them and what positive results you brought about.
Then what were the special skills or capabilities that allowed you to achieve the
